Göcek-Marmaris-Göcek (1 week)


Day 1: We arrival Marmaris and transfer Göcek and
check in on bourd. The skipper will welcome you with a
coctail and answer any questions you may have about
 the trip. For your first night on bourd we’ll stay in the
harbour so that you may get acquaited at leisure with
lively Göcek.

Day 2: After first breakfast of our tour, we will went to
Tersane Island. Swimming sun-bathing and enjoying the
wonderful nature. Late afternoon we will light anchor
and cruise to Aga Harbour. Dinner will be served there
and overnight,too.
Day 3: Early in the morning the engine will run and our
yacht will cruise Ekincik Bay, breakfast will be served here.
Till lunch time we will have enough time to explore the
turqoise blue waters of this area. After lunch we went to
after you an optional excursion trip by smaller fisher boats
to Dalyan area with its fantastic King Tombs, the ancient
city Caunos, mud-baths and Turtle Beach. After this
fantastic experience you will be brought back to your
yacht where dinner is prepared and just waiting for you.
This night we will stay in the same bay.
Day 4: After breakfast our cruise goes on to Kadırga
which is not far from Marmaris. Here in
Kadırga you will have the possibility to enjoy the crystal
clear waters till lunch time. Today we will visit several bays
in this are like Kumlubük, Turunç or Ked Adasi. After tea
time we will go on to Cennet Adasi for another
swimming break. Dinner and overnight will be at this
wonderful place.
Day 5: Waking up in a wonderful bay. After breakfast
our yacht will enter Marmaris Harbour. Another optional
excursion to explore more about Turkey will be offered to
you. We want invite you for a jeep safari through the
country side with many stops in fantastic places like
Orhaniye with its wonderful location and sandy beach,
Turgut waterfall where you will enjoy a delicious lunch,
Bayır typical Turkish village and many more places. After
that all you will be brought to a Turkish Bath to get dean
again after the dusty off-road trip. Dinner will be served
on you yacht and after you can join Marmaris and its
famous night life.
Day 6: Early in the morning out yacht will leave
Marmaris harbour and will go on in direction back to
Göcek area. Breakfast will be served in Aga Harbour. Here
you will have the possibility to relax again after the long
trip in turquoise blue coloured waters. For lunch the
yacht will light the anchor and enter the Göcek bay with
it several bays and islands. Some bays and Islands we will
visit here are as follows: Yassıca Adalar, Batık Hamam,
Domuz Adası, Bedri Rahmi and many more fantastic
places. Many swimming and refreshing breaks in different
places will be the program of this day.
Day 7: Our visits of islands and bays will go on this
morning. After lunch our direction will be back to Göcek,
our starting place, which will be reached late afternoon.
On this last night of the wonderful week you will have
the possibility to join its nice atmosphere. Dinner and
overnight on board in Göcek harbour.

Day 8: After breakfast our fantastic cruise ends it will be
time for saying bye bye to our yacht and its crew. Transfer
back to the airport or hotel.

TURKISH KEBAB

Who has never heard of shish kebab? In Turkish, shish kebab, literally means “gobbets of meat roasted on a spit or skewers.” Probably the most famous preparation for grilled lamb, there seems to be countless recipes. It is said that shish kebab was born over the open field fires of the soldiers of the Turkic tribes that first invaded Anatolia, who used their swords to grill meat, as they pushed west from their homelands in Central Asia. Given the obvious simplicity of spit-roasting meat over a fire, I suspect its genesis is earlier. There is iconographical evidence of Byzantine Greeks cooking shish kebabs. But surely the descriptions of skewering strips of meat for broiling in Homer’s  Odyssey  must count for an early shish kebab.     In the Arab world, the same preparation is called  shish kabab  or  lahm mishwy  (grilled meat).
